Spurs joining hunt for Szoboszlai (Transfer Market Web)

Tottenham Hotpsur could be the latest power club to enter the bidding on Red Bull Salzburg phenom — and rumored Bayern Munich transfer target — Dominik Szoboszlai:

According to Eurosport, Hungarian international midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai (20), still meant to leave Red Bull Salzburg, either during next winter window or once current season’s over, has been targeted by Tottenham. The 2000-born, whom a 25 million euros exit clause is set upon, is also tracked by Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan, AC Milan, and PSG, while he might still join main-branch side RB Leipzig.

Szoboszlai’s game can pretty much seamless translate to any of the clubs listed above — plus Bayern Munich, which isn’t named.

Die Geißböcke eyeing deals for Zirkzee and Dajaku (kicker)

Per kicker, FC Köln is taking a look at Bayern Munich’s Joshua Zirkzee and Leon Dajaku:

With the 1st FC Cologne rumors about winter transfers make the round the round, the probability for new additions tends in January in view of the financial situation toward zero. The talk so far is of Joshua Zirkzee (19, there was actually interest in him in the summer) and Leon Dajaku (19) - center forward and left wing of the FC Bayern Reserve, which plays in the 3rd division. But whether the talents would be suitable for the tough relegation battle?

We had previously heard of FC Köln’s interest in Zirkzee, but Dajaku is a new rumor. For his part, Dajaku is pacey, creative, and fearless with the ability to play centrally or out-wide. At one point, Bayern Munich was so intrigued by his talent that it was allegedly kicking around the prospect of making him a right-back in the mold of another winger-converted-to-fullback: Alphonso Davies.

Aside of his talent, another aspect of Dajaku’s game that has shown through his Bayern Munich II performances in 3.Liga is he’s got a lot of maverick in him. He loves taking on defenders — sometimes a little too much as he’ll often find himself taking two or three opposing players. If he can rein that part of his game in, it will be a huge step for his growth as a player.

Because of the uncertainty surrounding FC Köln’s finances during this pandemic, it can be assumed that any move for the Bavarian youngsters would be a loan assignment.

Inter still scoping Tolisso (Transfer Market Web)

Inter Milan have been linked to Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso quite heavily of late. Is there any smoke with that fire?

In search for a new deep-lying playmaker, Inter Milan management might get a new opening on 26-year old French international midfielder Corentin Tolisso, since Bayern Munich might be getting rid of him, if withdrawing a proper bid upon. Playing for German giants since 2017/18, former Lyon playmaker is still on a deal with Die Roten until June 2022.

I don’t really agree with Tolisso being labeled a “deep-lying playmaker”, but I supposed there are worse things to be called (just ask Michaël Cuisance). I consider Tolisso more of a box-to-box midfielder.

The BVB and Sponge Bob team up is a thing (@BlackYellow)

Borussia Dortmund and Sponge Bob have formed an unholy alliance:

Amazing facial expression caught (@Plettigoal)

Well Oliver Bierhoff confirmed that Joachim Löw will be open to having Thomas Muller, Jerome Boateng, and Mats Hummels returning to Germany:

Break ended! Bierhoff: “Now a new chapter begins (...) Löw will do what is best for the team. ”OB confirms our information that Löw will re-evaluate the players in March. Chance for H / M / B. “Jogi now has all options to build a NEW team!” @SPORT1

Funny enough, my reaction to Bierhoff saying that, left me with the same exact expression since I don’t believe it at all.

What Arjen Robben looked like then and now for FC Groningen:

It appears that Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain manager fancy each other:

Bayern holiday photo rules once again (@FCBayernUS)

If we tried this with the BFW staff, there would be at least three people passed out drunk before the picture was taken.
