Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer continues to face questions over his long-term future at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils have struggled for consistency this term and have endured a tricky start to their Premier League campaign.

Former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson this week told Ladbrokes that Solskjaer will always be under pressure for as long as Mauricio Pochettino is unattached.

But now the Argentinian is in line to potentially replace Thomas Tuchel, who is expected to leave PSG at the end of the season.

French football expert Julien Laurens told talkSPORT: "[Pochettino] has really good ties with PSG, he was their player, their captain, and he loves Paris as a city and a football club."

But could this mean Tuchel to United?

Well, there has been interest in the past from both parties.

And reports in Germany, where Tuchel made his name, now suggest the PSG man is keen on a move to England - with United in his sights.

“According to our information he can really imagine taking the step to the Premier League,” German football expert Christian Falk told SportBILD.

“It is no secret that his chapter at Paris Saint Germain will probably be finished at the end of the season.

“There are no talks, and we know that already in the past there was contact with Tuchel and Manchester United.

“It is a club that would fit to him and surely when the time comes for managers to be shortlisted he should be there.

“Ole Gunnar Solskjaer only has a contract until 2022 and United are far away from the Champions League places in the Premier League.

Manchester United have been given four potential Solskjaer replacements, including PSG boss Thomas Tuchel

“There is the threat from Leipzig in the Champions League group stages, so the topic of Tuchel at United could quickly become hot.”

Tuchel got the better of Solskjaer at Old Trafford this week.

And he may end up replacing the Norwegian in the dugout once he is finally shown the door in Paris.
