Report: Eriksen’s agent in talks to potentially end his frustrating spell at Inter Milan

Christian Eriksen is reported to have emerged as a top transfer target for Paris Saint-Germain in the upcoming winter transfer window.

According to Todofichajes, Eriksen’s representatives are said to be assessing his options for next season after struggling to make an impact at Inter Milan.

The Dane, who had six months left to run on his contract at Tottenham Hotspur joined the Italian giants last January for £16.9milion (BBC) after revealing just a matter of days following the Champions League final defeat to Liverpool of his desire to experience a new challenge (Ekstra Bladet).

Eriksen has only featured for a total of 95 minutes across Inter’s four Serie A matches this season (transfermarkt).

Speaking before the recent international break, the midfielder insisted he does not expect to sit on the bench for the rest of the season after he vented his frustration at his current situation (Goal).

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claimed earlier this summer that Spurs made an enquiry to take their former playmaker back on loan (Here We Go podcast).

The report claims PSG’s sporting director Leonardo has already entered into negotiations with Eriksen’s agent with the Italians said to be willing to listen to offers of more than £55m.
