One Liverpool fan could not believe how much praise Manchester United have been getting for beating Paris Saint-Germain - telling talkSPORT even Leeds and West Ham would defeat them!
Mohammed the Red called into the Sports Bar on Tuesday evening after United got their Champions League campaign off to the perfect start with a win in Paris.
Marcus Rashford netted the all-important winner three minutes from time, after Anthony Martial's own goal had earlier cancelled out Bruno Fernandes' opener from the penalty spot.
The Red Devils put in a fine showing at the Parc des Princes with particular praise reserved for United's back three of Luke Shaw, Victor Lindelof and Axel Tuanzebe.
Tuanzebe especially has widely lauded since the end of the match - including by his manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - as he shut down PSG stars Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in his first appearance of the calendar year having not played football since last December!
But Mohammed could not believe what he was hearing from talkSPORT hosts Jason Cundy and Perry Groves as they heaped praise on Man United during the Sports Bar.
In fact, the Liverpool supporter was so frustrated by the discussion he actually called talkSPORT to blast PSG and criticise the coverage of the Red Devils' victory.
“I think you are going a bit too overboard," began Mohammed the Red. "The Paris side is absolutely terrible!
"Even Leeds United would go and beat them there! Even West Ham would beat them! They are terrible.
“Neymar and Mbappe – they are two players, but the rest are absolutely terrible.
“You guys are going on like United have actually done something!"
Cundy could not believe what he was hearing from Mohammed and defended his praise.
“I don’t know how much you have heard of the show, but Perry and I have actually NOT gone overboard," replied the former Chelsea defender.
“It was a brilliant performance and you’ve got to give credit for that.
“I happen to think PSG are overrated and when they come up against good teams, really good teams, they get found out every single year.
“And they got found out by a brilliant front three and, tactically, Ole did [Thomas] Tuchel.”
“You’d be raving if Liverpool went to Paris and won 2-1,” added Groves in a final swipe at the frustrated Reds fan.
