Liverpool fans believe that Kylian Mbappe is starting to look unhappy at PSG.

Mbappe, who is said to be on Liverpool’s wishlist, and his PSG side were beaten by Manchester United last night in the Champions League.

The £166 million French striker (BBC Sport) showed flashes of quality during the contest, but was not supplied with the kind of service that he might have been hoping for.

And Liverpool fans are encouraged that Mbappe could look to move on at the end of the season after his latest display.

Mbappe looks a highly ambitious target for Liverpool, but TalkSPORT claimed only yesterday that the switch is a ‘realistic’ one.

The problem for Liverpool will be funding a transfer, but FSG may be willing to finance the move knowing that they would have one of the leading stars in world football in their team.

If Mbappe was to move to Liverpool it would be a frightening prospect for the rest of the league, as even though he didn’t score last night he still caused a threat.

Mbappe was unlucky not to hit the back of the net at one stage, when a brilliant run and shot was only denied by a great save from David de Gea.

PSG reached the Champions League final last term, but are now having to play catch up in their group, after losing their opening game.
