Manchester United secured another memorable away win at Paris Saint-Germain, as Marcus Rashford's late goal secured a 2-1 win at the Parc des Princes.

After taking the lead through captain Bruno Fernandes, who stroked home his penalty at the second time of asking, United looked solid and assured at the back, keeping PSG's front three at bay while advertising a constant threat on the counter-attack.

An Anthony Martial own goal set the visitors back in the 55th minute, but they need not worry as Rashford would ensure they emerged victorious - just as he did in the 2019 Round of 16 - rifling past Keylor Navas to kickstart United's Champions League campaign in style.

Let's get into some player ratings, shall we?

PSG

1. Goalkeeper & Defenders

Keylor Navas (GK) - 6/10 - Did well to save Bruno's penalty first time around, but ultimately did so illegally. Dealt with pretty much everything that came his way.

Alessandro Florenzi (RB) - 5/10 - Was unable to make his mark on the game from right-back, with United's system nullifying any threat he may have posed.

Abdou Diallo (CB) - 5/10 - Senseless lunge on Martial to give the penalty away, but a decent display apart from that glaring error.

Presnel Kimpembe (CB) - 6/10 - Appointed captain for the evening, but was unable to demonstrate the leadership skills he would have wanted to. Regularly caught out by long balls over the top.

Layvin Kurzawa (LB) - 7/10 - A major threat on the wing, constantly on the overlap providing decoy runs and making a nuisance of himself.

2. Midfielders

Ander Herrera (CM) - 5/10 - Struggled to inspire any intensity in his team's passing in a laboured midfield performance.

Danilo Pereira (CM) - 6/10 - Passing wasn't adventurous enough at times, but made a vital tackle on Rashford as he broke away on the counter-attack.

Idrissa Gueye (CM) - 5/10 - Substituted for Moise Kean at half-time with PSG lacking creativity in midfield.

3. Forwards

Angel Di Maria (RW) - 6/10 - Tested De Gea with a curling effort in the first half, and was then moved into midfield where he was unable to really get into the game.

Kylian Mbappe (ST) - 5/10 - Found himself isolated against United's back-three in a subdued first-half display. Was more prominent on the left hand-side in the second half, meandering inside to test De Gea with a dangerous looking effort.

Neymar (LW) - 5/10 - After an exuberant opening 10 minutes, the Brazilian drifted in and out of the game. Failed to provide a sustained threat, despite flashes of menace.

David de Gea (GK) - 9/10 - A superb display from United's No.1. Made a series of first-half saves and was constantly alert on the edge of his penalty area.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (RWB) - 8/10 - Got forward well and made a number of crucial tackles on Mbappe. One of his best displays in Europe.

Axel Tuanzebe (CB) - 8/10 - An emphatic return to the side after 10 months out in the cold. Calm and collected, he was unfazed by the calibre of PSG's front three.

Victor Lindelof (CB) - 7/10 - Marshalled United's defence well in the absence of Harry Maguire, coping admirably as PSG piled the pressure on late on.

Luke Shaw (CB) - 6/10 - Slotted in comfortably at centre-half, looking more assured in a system that allowed for more defensive numbers.

Alex Telles (LWB) - 7/10 - Promising debut for United's summer signing. Delivered a few threatening balls into the box before being substituted for Pogba after 66 minutes.

6. Midfielders

Scott McTominay (CM) - 8/10 - A typically combative, energetic display from the Scot in midfield, picking up the pieces and effectuating counter-attacks.

Fred (CM) - 6/10 - Did the basics well: battled hard, showed tenacity, and was crisp with his passing.

Bruno Fernandes (CM) - 7/10 - Slotted home his penalty with aplomb after missing the first time around, displaying formidable mental strength. At the heart of United's passing moves.

7. Forwards

Anthony Martial (ST) - 6/10 - Showed clever movement and footwork to win United's penalty, but was obviously culpable for that bizarre, headed own goal.

Marcus Rashford (ST) - 8/10 - The match-winner. Found space brilliantly and fired home to secure the three points after a disappointing first-half display.
