Video: Manchester United’s Martial Makes Up For His Dive By Scoring a Header…for PSG

If you weren’t a believer in karma before tonight, you should be now.

In the first half of Paris Saint-Germain’s UEFA Champions League group stage match against Manchester United, Anthony Martial made the most of a slight tough from Abdou Diallo and fell to the ground in a heap to win the visitors a penalty, which they converted to go up 1-0 at the Parc des Princes.

The first half ended 1-0 but all would be made right in the 55th minute. Neymar Jr. whipped in a corner and instead of clearing the ball, Martial directed it into the back of his own net, making up for his foolishness earlier.

While the goal was definitely welcomed, it’s sad that with Neymar and Kylian Mbappé on the pitch that PSG would go scoreless for that long and needed an own-goal to draw level against an inferior side.

Thomas Tuchel will have some tough questions to answer whether or not PSG pull this one out or not.

  1. Dude, how could United be described as an Inferior side as if we a club that finish in the bottom half of our league. Aside from that we play in the toughest and best league in the world where any team – even a bottom table team – will beat PSG. United is a way bigger club than psg globally and on merit. Psg has so much to catch up with in terms of accomplishments compared to United. Whoever wrote this article is bias and foolish. Psg couldn’t score, United scored every goal and we beat psg again from the last time we versed and they are going to be beaten again at Old Trafford. So who is truly Inferior? Any team against an English team is the Inferior side, there’s even teams in England that have champions league titles and they play bellow the Premier league, psg doesn’t have one. When you write articles you must have your information on check and an impartial view.
