According to Le Parisien, Kylian Mbappe doesn’t want to extend his Paris Saint-Germain deal – and could leave next summer for Liverpool or Real Madrid.
It’s claimed that Mbappe is showing no desire to sign a new deal with PSG, with his current deal set to expire in the summer of 2022.
PSG may therefore be forced to sell Mbappe next summer, rather than see him leave for absolutely nothing at the end of next season.
The report notes that Mbappe may now end up at either Liverpool or Real Madrid, with both sides thought to be hugely keen on luring Mbappe in a big-money deal.
The 21-year-old is already a global star after 94 goals and 55 assists in just 128 games for PSG, and he will no doubt attract huge interest if he does move on.
Liverpool have been in regular contact with Mbappe’s entourage according to L’Equipe, and they will hope their groundwork pays off next summer.
The Reds added Diogo Jota to their attack over the summer, but with Roberto Firmino struggling for goals, Mbappe could be seen as the signing to take Liverpool to the next level.
Today’s reports will give Liverpool fans added hope of seeing Mbappe arrive at Anfield, though finding the huge amount of money for a deal could be an issue due to the global pandemic.
