Tottenham Hotspur fans are likely to be on a high after a super 24 hours.

Having confirmed a swoop for Real Madrid duo Gareth Bale and Sergio Reguilon, Spurs are now off the mark in the Premier League after a 5-2 win at Southampton.

After a slow start, four goals from Son Heung-min and and late strike from Harry Kane saw Spurs come back from a goal down to earn a relatively comfortable win at St Mary's, and perhaps offer an exciting sign of things to come from a front three that will soon be boosted by Bale's arrival.

Nevertheless, Jose Mourinho is still believed to be keen on bringing more new faces on board before the close of the transfer window.

Here's a quick round-up of the latest transfer gossip.

PSG open Alli talks

Paris Saint-Germain are in talks to sign Dele Alli this summer.

That's according to the Daily Telegraph, who claim the midfielder is upset and confused by his recent omission from Mourinho's squad for two consecutive games.

Dele Alli was taken off at half time against Everton

Alli didn't travel for the win over Southampton on Sunday, and speculation over his future has been building in recent weeks.

There was an initial suggestion that Alli could head to Real Madrid as part of the deal bringing Gareth Bale back to the club.

Those reports have turned out to be wide of the mark, but Alli could nevertheless be on his way out of the club, with reports suggesting that he may depart on a season-long loan.

Spurs in for Weghorst

Reports in the Netherlands have claimed that Tottenham hold a 'serious' interest VfL Wolfsburg's Wout Weghorst.

Dutch outlet Tabantia claims Spurs could look to conclude a deal within the coming week, although Wolfsburg are likely to be keen on keeping the 28-year old.

Weghorst netted 20 goals in all competitions last season, and his current contract with the Bundesliga club runs until June 2023.

Spurs ready to make £30m move for Man United star

Tottenham are reportedly keen on a £30m deal for Manchester United's Jesse Lingard.

According to the Daily Star, Lingard looks increasingly likely to leave United this summer, having been seemingly frozen out by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The 27-year old hasn't started a Premier League game since January, and Mourinho is believed to be keen on a reunion, believing he can revive the England international's flagging career.
