Report: Man United Agrees To Deal With Alex Telles; PSG Ponders on Whether To Submit an Offer

For the last few months, FC Porto has kept monitoring the suitors for their left-back, Alex Telles. The Portuguese club is looking to sell the 27-year-old for the right price. With the transfer window set to close in a few weeks, his name is beginning to garner attention.

According to RMC Sport journalist, Mohamed Bouhafsi tweeted out that Telles has agreed to a five-year contract with Manchester United FC, but that Paris Saint-Germain continues to monitor the situation and deciding whether or not to jump in.

However, the Daily Mail reports that sources within the club tell them that a deal is premature. With the ACL injury to Juan Bernat, the capital club will have a depth-chart at left-back consisting of Layvin Kurzawa and Mitchel Bakker, which isn’t good.

Leonardo reportedly doesn’t want to add to the left side of the defense, but with the injury to Bernat, that thought should change.

Transfermarkt puts Telles price at €40-million, but with the coronavirus pandemic affecting prices, this could drop significantly.

Will the price be in the range that PSG is willing to submit an offer to beat out Manchester United? We’ll see.
