Rice's ability doubted

According to The Athletic, figures at Chelsea are concerned that Declan Rice has not improved enough technically since being released by the club six years ago.

The Blues are reportedly eyeing a move for the England midfielder, but there are some doubts, especially with West Ham demanding a huge fee to sell their star player.

The Hammers are understood to be demanding as much as £70million for Rice, and that could be a stretch for Chelsea given the amount they have already spent.

Chelsea have already spent well over £200million with goalkeeper Edouard Mendy also expected to join for up to £20million.

Inter attempt to raise funds

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter Milan will only have a chance of signing N’Golo Kante if they can sell players to raise funds.

The report claims Marcelo Brozovic and Milan Skriniar are players who could potentially leave and be sold.

However, if Chelsea are not looking to sign Rice this summer, it's extremely unlikely Kante would be allowed to leave.

Kante has been a key part of Chelsea's midfield since his arrival in 2016.
